It should be physically compatible with your air-handler (mounting, blower delay, sequencer, controls)
It should be approved/listed for the refrigerant it pairs with (in this case R-454B) or at least be compatible with the air-handler which is set up for R-454B
Match the heating capacity (8 kW) to your system design (airflow, ductwork, heat loss)
Control safety features: over-temperature limits, sequencers, branch circuit protection, etc.
Ensure the air handler is designed for multiposition (upflow/horizontal) if that’s relevant (you mentioned horizontal configuration earlier)
Verify lead times / shipping to India if your supply chain goes internationally; power & wiring standard differences (India is 230 V 50Hz) so check local specs/standards
