As a split system, it consists of an outdoor heat pump unit combined with indoor heating components, connected through refrigerant lines to deliver balanced airflow and consistent indoor comfort.

The system includes the J5HP5030A1000AA outdoor heat pump, rated at 2.5 tons with 14.3 SEER2 efficiency and designed for R454B refrigerant, delivering reliable cooling and heat pump heating during mild outdoor conditions. The J5MXCB016AC6HCA evaporator coil is a B-cabinet cased coil compatible with 1.5–3.5 ton systems, supporting proper airflow and efficient heat transfer. For colder conditions, the J801V060BM4SE gas furnace provides 60,000 BTUH of heating capacity with 80% AFUE efficiency, single-stage operation, and a multi-position design, operating on 115/1/60 power for installation flexibility.
