This Oxbox system is a split-system heat pump with a high-efficiency gas furnace, designed to provide reliable cooling, efficient electric heat pump heating, and powerful gas backup heating for residential applications. The split-system configuration allows for quiet operation, balanced airflow, and flexible installation.

The system includes the J5HP5030A1000AA outdoor heat pump, rated at 2.5 tons with 14.3 SEER2 efficiency and engineered for R454B refrigerant, delivering dependable cooling and heat pump heating. Cooling and heat transfer are supported by the J5MXCC017AC6HCA cased evaporator coil, a C-cabinet design compatible with 1.5–3.5 ton applications, ensuring proper airflow and system matching.

For optimized refrigerant control, the system includes the 5AYTXVH3A1836A TXV kit, compatible with 1.5–3.0 ton R454B coil and air handler applications. Backup heating is provided by the J962V080CU4SA gas furnace, featuring two-stage operation, 96% AFUE efficiency, and 80,000 BTUH heating capacity in a C-cabinet configuration.
