This Oxbox system is a split-system dual fuel heat pump designed to deliver efficient cooling, flexible electric heat pump operation, and powerful gas heating for residential applications. As a split system, it consists of an outdoor heat pump unit paired with indoor heating components, connected through refrigerant lines to provide balanced airflow and consistent indoor comfort.

The system includes the J5HP5048A1000AA outdoor heat pump, rated at 4.0 tons with 14.3 SEER2 efficiency and engineered for R454B refrigerant, delivering reliable cooling and heat pump heating during mild outdoor conditions. The J5MXCC009AC6HCA evaporator coil is a C-cabinet cased coil compatible with 3.0–5.0 ton systems, designed to support proper airflow and efficient heat transfer. For colder conditions, the J962V100CU5SA gas furnace provides 100,000 BTUH of heating capacity with 96% AFUE efficiency and two-stage operation, delivering strong, energy-efficient backup heat.
